Hi Everyone,
You all must be wondering why there haven't been any blog posts from me for 2 years.
Well, to make a long story short, I was in NS. Busy with NS commitments, duties, extras and all that stuff.
It was a memorable journey and the time I spent in NS and the wonderful friends I have made and the superiors i have worked under will forever remain close to me.
NS is not a waste of 2 years of life. I had that feeling when i enlisted back in January 2017. After completing my final year of studies in 2016, waited for enlistment till 2017. NS pushed back the start of my university, career and stuff like that.
If i had joined Uni in 2016, I would have been starting my Final year in August 2019(like most of my international school friends who are free from NS obligations), But reality is I'm going to start university studies in August 2019.
But, Its not all doom and gloom. NS taught me many values that i could not have learnt outside.
Communication skills, How to put forward your ideas in an effective manner etc are some of the few.
Next up, is my driving lessons which i will cover in a separate blog post.
