Synopsis:  Looking at the trailer of Dev, many were wondering what the movie would have in store for us. Scintillating shots of Mount Everest, Soulful melodies in the background, picturesque locations abroad, a handsome hero and an equally beautiful heroine.

But, the movie is a big let down. The whole movie is told in the form of Vignesh's flashback. Karthi lives with his friends in Ukraine, finds a girl on FB, impresses her and she too accepts eventually. Then, you must be wondering what does Mount Everest got to do with Romance. Well, watch the movie to find out.

The first is extremely slow and boring, while the second half picks up some pace, it still isn't enough to sustain our attention and interest. Harris Jayaraj's songs and BGM are a huge plus and lifts the mood in many scenes.

The run time also is a bit too much. Senior artistes like Prakash raj and Ramya have very little to do in the film.

Verdict: Go for it if you are interested in watching the grand visuals of Ukraine and Everest. Otherwise, save up and use the money on another film.
